About The Blue Fins

Located in Centennial, Colorado, the Forest Park Blue Fins swim team is part of the Rocky Mountain Swim League (RMSL).  Our swimmers come from the small neighborhood of Forest Park, our nearby neighborhoods of Polo Run, Highlands 460, and Four Lakes, plus Highlands Ranch and other nearby areas.

We have approximately 150 swimmers ranging in age from 4 to 18. Some swimmers swim year round and at their high school while many only swim during the summer. Requirements (to swim in a meet) are that you can swim one length of the pool, attend a minimum of three practices per week and a minimum of two meets a season.  Our developmental team, the Minnows, do not have such requirements - only a willingness to learn to swim better and to be comfortable in the water with basic swim skills already taught elsewhere.

We have six fantastic and experienced coaches, all of whom have been on our swim team (or another one) in the past.

There are five meets during June and July, Prelims and Finals. Also, we have an end of the season banquet and present awards at that time.

Swim Team is an enjoyable experience while it keeps kids in great shape and improves swimming skills.
