How much does it cost to be on the team?

For Forest Park residents, the cost is $100 for the first child and $95 each child thereafter.

For non-Forest Park residents, the cost is $115 for the first child and $110 each child thereafter.

I'm a non-Forest Park resident, can I get a summer guest pass to use the pool?

A limited number of Forest Park pool summer guest passes will be offered for 2011 for $375 for the entire family. The only requirement is that you must have at least one child on the swim team during the summer. If you are interested in a the pool guest passes at Forest Park, please fill out the form with your check.  Check needs to be made out to FPHOA and sent to Liz Mosley.

How often do team members need to practice?

It is recommended that each swimmer should attend at least three (3) practices per week.

What are beads? And when is Fun Day?

No treasure box this year! We will be implementing a "Bead" system that FP used to do years ago:

• 1st place =1 blue bead
• 2nd place =1 red bead
• 3rd place = 1 white bead
• NO DQ's = 1 silver bead
• Coaches bead(for outstanding sportsmanship, encouragement, etc)=1 gold or yellow bead
• Team record = 1 bead (color tbd)
• Making Championships= 1 bead (color tbd)
• All event = 1 bead (color tbd)
• Blue Fin = 1 bigger bead, every kid will start with this at the beginning of the season, it will come on some sort of string or rope and as the season progresses it will be the anchor bead for all the other beads

Fun Day is moved back to Mondays when beads are passed out to swimmers when they get the ribbons from the meet.
