We had a FANTASTIC season this summer!  Please join us again next summer!  Registration will begin mid-March!

Finals are Saturday July 17th at:
Cherry Creek Vista Swimming Pool
11350 East Orchard Road
Englewood, CO

From I-25, take Orchard Road East for about 2 miles. You'll see the pool on the right hand side. 

We want to make all teams aware of a few important details as you plan your trip to finals. 

There will be limited space away from the pool where chairs may be set up. NO TENTS OR AWNINGS WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE FENCED POOL AREA! There is plenty of space for tents and awnings in the school yard just across from the pool and some area near the team tents. There will be a "standing only" area on the north side of our beach-entry pool for additional race viewing.

*TENT/CHAIR/SWIMMER DROP OFF - There will be a drop off area on the nw corner of the pool. The circular drive in the Cottonwood Elementary parking lot will be marked specifically for this. THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE COTTONWOOD LOT AS CONSTRUCTION CREWS WILL BE WORKING ON SATURDAY!

*CCV has bathrooms located inside the fenced pool area that will be marked for men & women. There will be 4 additional porta pottys located just outside the fenced area for every one's use.

*Heating will be fenced and secured and should only have swimmers & heating volunteers in this area. Pre-heating, which will take place just outside the sw corner of the pool will be open to coaches. 

Our warm up time is 7:30 a.m. in lanes 7 & 8.  Be there by 7:15 to get set up to be in the water at 7:30.  Here's a link to show where our team tents are to be placed.  Looks like we're in the back row of the line up away from the pool:

For kids attending prelims (and then finals, if applicable):

Monday - 8-9:15 13 & up
               9:15-10 12 & under
               GO 8 & UNDERS AT PRELIMS!  No warm ups for 8 & under        prelims.  Meet at Homestead Farms II.  Look at the map on the RMSL website or my prior email for the place for our team to set up.

Tuesday - 8-9:15 9 & up
                 9:15-10  8 & unders who made finals
                 GO 13 - 18 YEAR OLDS AT PRELIMS!   We will warm up at 6:50 at Stonegate.

their address is 8500 e mineral, but the exact pool location is a couple blocks east of the map marker, fyi.  you will run right into the pool on the south side of the street, not the north.  just a heads up!

there will be no practice on july 2nd or 5th due to the fourth of july holiday.  enjoy!

Tomorrow, we will hold a slightly shortened and optional practice for everyone. We will be working on a lot of starts and turns specifically (less yardage since there's a meet tomorrow afternoon).  Here's the adjusted times:

7:15-8:15  13 -18 year olds
8:15-9:00  9-12 year olds
9-9:45       7-8 year olds
9:45-10:15  6 & unders and Minnows

We will see you at Heritage Greens, in the water, at 2:15 p.m. tomorrow for our rescheduled meet.  Meet begins at 3 p.m.  

Keep communicating with the coaches about your swimmer's needs.  You may email them on this website at the very top of the page.

Today's meet is cancelled and is rescheduled for Tuesday at 3 p.m.  More details to follow.

We apologize to the families that were already at the pool or on their way  when the email was received.  Unfortunately there is a delay when sending these mass emails.

Attached you'll find the FP meet entries for tomorrow's swim meet with HG. 

as stated earlier, practice times might have to shift slightly, due to group sizes, etc.  the coaches would like to change practice times, beginning tomorrow (wednesday, june 9th) to:

13-18's  6:45 to 8:15 (get out 15 minutes earlier)
9-12's    8:15 to 9:15 (start and end 15 minutes earlier)
7 & 8's   9:15-10:00  (practice earlier and alone, as a group)

6 & unders and minnows   10:00-10:30 (6 & unders - later practice time due to large group, and with the minnows, who have their same time)

this week, we'll have practices for those still in school only, from 5:00-5:45 - all age groups.  we don't anticipate a big crowd, so we'll have practices with two coaches on the following days:  monday and wednesday (june 7 & 9th) at the pool.
